Special Containment Procedures
SCP-[...] is to be contained within a standard humanoid containment chamber at Site-██, modified to prevent any potential interaction with live vegetation. The chamber is to be furnished with basic amenities to accommodate SCP-[...]'s emotional needs, including a bed, a table, and entertainment materials. A minimum of two (2) meters of empty space must be maintained between SCP-[...] and any walls or objects to prevent accidental contact.
SCP-[...] is to be monitored via video surveillance at all times. Due to its perception-as-anomalous supression mechanism, a rotation of Class-D personnel, who have not previously been exposed to SCP-[...], are to be assigned to directly observe the entity in shifts. Any personnel entering SCP-[...]'s containment chamber must wear Level A protective gear, including gloves, eye protection, and a face mask, to prevent accidental physical contact and potential emotional manipulation.
SCP-[...] is a humanoid entity approximately 1.6 meters in height, with a featureless body composed of a smooth, white material. The entity's head is circular and lacks distinct facial features, except for a pair of bright green, leaf-like protrusions (designated as "SCP-[...]-1") on top of its head. SCP-[...]-1 maintains a consistent color hex code of #57e352, regardless of lighting conditions or image quality. The entity's body is devoid of visible appendages, but subtle, rounded shapes on its sides and bottom suggest the presence of arms and legs.
SCP-[...] exhibits powerful anomalous effects on individuals who come into close proximity (within 5 meters). Affected individuals experience an intense compulsion to remain in its presence, reporting feelings of comfort, emotional connection, and a desire for companionship. During this period, SCP-[...] provides a brief, intense emotional uplift, akin to a successful psychotherapy session. This effect occurs without any scientifically valid basis when examined through the lens of traditional psychological interactions.
Physical contact with SCP-[...]'s surface induces a strong desire for physical intimacy in the subject. Attempts to determine the entity's texture have been inconclusive, with reports ranging from smooth and soft to slightly rough. Prolonged exposure to SCP-[...]'s anomalous effects by both proximity and physical touch can lead to emotional dependence and decreased cognitive function.
Individuals who have been exposed to SCP-[...]'s anomalous effects become unable to perceive the entity as anomalous. SCP-[...] does not display any signs of requiring sustenance or sleep, only exhibiting emotional needs and a desire for companionship with new subjects.
Addendum A: Interview Log with Dr. ██████ after exposure to SCP-[...]
<Start of Log>
[Dr. ██████ is interviewed after a brief encounter with SCP-[...], during which she experienced the entity's anomalous effects.]
Dr. ██████: It was... surreal. I felt this overwhelming need to just sit with it, you know? Like I had known it forever. And then, it was like all my worries just... faded away. I felt genuinely happy, if only for a moment.
Interviewer: Can you describe the physical sensation when you touched it?
Dr. ██████: It's hard to explain. It was like... hugging a cloud. Soft, yet... not quite there. I just wanted to keep holding it.
[Dr. ██████'s interview concludes, and she is subsequently unable to perceive SCP-[...] as anomalous in its containment chamber.]

Addendum B: Research Note
The consistent color of SCP-[...]-1 has led to speculation about its potential connection to [REDACTED], a known group of interest with an affinity for anomalous plant life. Further investigation into this potential link is ongoing. Researchers are advised to exercise caution when interacting with SCP-[...], as its anomalous effects can be highly persuasive and potentially detrimental to mental health.
